Learns like a rookie. Isn't. — iliass, the closed beta hire.

Step 1

the playbook, decoded

Real estate in Melbourne, commission-only. Every deal is really two sales.

First I win the listing: prospect. find vendors. build trust. stay in touch, sometimes for years. "Hey Mia, Zoe's first week at kindergarten. How are you holding up?" pitch. list. "No I won't do it for less than 1.8%."

Then the sale itself starts: opens. calls. "The kitchen's a bit small." find the right buyer. "Would they take $100K below?" laugh awkwardly. negotiate. deal done. "Congrats, Emma." champagne.

Networking: more calls. brokers. conveyancers. "How about coffee on Tuesday, Jake?" other agents. referrals from past clients. "Sh**, I forgot school pick up time again."

30-35 of these, start to finish, every year.

Step 2

the track record, organised

Sales volume: $17.9M in 2024. $42.6M in 2025. $21.1M so far in 2026. $1.26M in gross commission introduced. Experience built over five plus years across Melbourne and Brisbane, through volatile markets.

10-14 days on average, from first conversation to signed listing. 3 months from listing to settlement. Quarterly check-ins for anyone not ready yet, some take years to convert, and that's fine.

Step 3

my skills & instincts become your pipeline

Real estate taught me how to come up with my own leads. I built the whole pipeline from zero to 900. I've already got the sales skills and the instincts, ready to take on the next challenge. Tech is a natural fit for me and where my interest truly lies. Put me somewhere that rewards actually chasing a target, I'll keep showing up for it and we might even have some fun along the way.

Step 4

why cuttable, why now

AI is about to break open advertising's real bottleneck, and Cuttable's right in the middle of it. What you're building gives a growing brand the access to the kind of creative that used to be reserved for the big players. You're backed, but still early, and that's exactly the stage I want in on, to help build this out here in Australia in its growth phase. I believe there's a massive opportunity here: your promise to serve the 98% who never had access to this kind of advertising before, the pie is huge, and there's a massive market for us to conquer.

I've felt that gap before when building my own brand as a real estate agent (a business within a business) and with my side quest, Sold Off Market.

I don't buy that good ads are dead. We're just flooded with generic ones. Every time I hear "at brand X, we believe in X" I almost pass out. Same thing with AI-written ads right now, scroll YouTube or Meta and you can hear it, "it's not this, it's that," or "same structure, different noun". Most people using AI now are losing their own voice, and everyone can tell. But we all remember when ads actually made you feel something, told a story, or provoked a reaction. Some of them actually stuck with us for years.

And no, I have no formal tech background (yet). But I'm ready to go All In. You didn't build this by playing it safe. Neither did I. Your move.
